Melody “Mel” Scott desires to offer a safe, open, and nonjudgmental space for every client. Utilizing a blend of emotion-focused, existential, DBT, IFS, and narrative therapy techniques, Mel integrates mindfulness, meaning, and insight to help you explore your whole identity. Holding master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Theology and Religion (with a focus on Gender Studies), and Intercultural Studies, she brings a rich, multifaceted perspective to her work.
Drawing on her extensive experience in student development, spiritual formation, and counseling, she welcomes each individual with warmth and authenticity, inviting you to explore and grow in your own unique way.
Mel brings her genuine nature into every session and co-creates an approach that honors each client’s individual goals, strengths, and life story. She specializes in supporting matters around life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, stress, low moods, sexual health, self-esteem, and college student concerns.
Clients appreciate Mel’s trustworthy and hopeful presence, often sharing that working with her has unlocked new insights and inspired them to grow in unexpected ways. She is deeply passionate about the wellbeing of all people and considers it a privilege to walk with you through your fears, hurts, and challenges as you experience healing and restoration.
