“Some wounds are invisible—quietly stitched into the fabric of who we are—and most deeply felt in the spaces where love and safety should have lived.”
Katya is a licensed clinical therapist who believes healing happens best in a safe, steady relationship where clients feel seen, understood, and supported. Her training includes EMDR, Parts Work, somatic and body-based therapies, sensory approaches like sand tray, and Polyvagal-informed care. She draws from a wide range of modalities, but the heart of her work remains simple: meeting clients exactly where they are and helping their nervous system find its way back to safety.
Over the years, Katya has learned that real change doesn’t happen from talking alone—it happens when we gently reach the parts of the mind and body where experiences are held. This is where integration, release, and true transformation begin.
Katya primarily works with adult women navigating life adjustments, trauma, shame, betrayal trauma, emotional abuse, OCD, depression, anxiety, and the exhaustion that comes from carrying too much for too long.
As a trauma survivor herself, she brings a grounded empathy and a felt understanding of the healing process. Katya offers a calm, compassionate presence—someone who can sit with clients in the hard places, honor their story, and help them make sense of what feels heavy or lonely.
She believes no one should have to figure everything out on their own. Healing is possible, and Katya considers it an honor to walk alongside clients as they find their way forward.
_______________
Katya earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of South Dakota. She works with women, thoughtfully integrating faith-based support into trauma and attachment therapy. Her counseling approach is rooted in the belief that healing must consider the whole person—mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Katya is especially passionate about body-based trauma work and helping clients feel safe, seen, and truly supported on their healing journey.
